The Election is over and yet its aftermath has been troubling. Some members of the African-American community, the Muslim community, the Latino Community, the LGBTQ community and the International community on this campus have reported feeling unease, anxiety, fear, and vulnerability. At the request of some students and faculty, we are organizing a series of informal gatherings to

• listen to and hear how people are experiencing this context
• think about ways we can collectively ensure that no person feels unsafe in the university community
• develop concrete ways to intervene when we witness acts of discrimination/hate in our classrooms and in the community
• discuss what pedagogies of social justice that uphold the principles of the conceptual frameworks of our College and our University would look like in this context
