At OLC Innovate, we will conduct a series of engaging hands-on workshops aimed at fostering organic interactions and collaborative cross-disciplinary problem solving. Together we will build new foundations for stronger, better higher education environments. And because innovation scales best when ideas are shared, our work sessions will explore emerging technologies and adapted teaching behaviors aimed at informing policy, inspiring leadership, and evolving practice at all levels impacting institutions, universities and colleges.

Digital Pedagogy Lab is a five-day summer institute that explores the role and application of digital technology in teaching. The 2018 institute will have four tracks, offering intensive peer-driven learning with and discussion of networked learning, new media, and critical digital pedagogy.

The mission of the CLS is to fuel a growing movement of innovators harnessing the power of emerging technology to expand access to participatory, playful, and creative learning. It represents a merger between three community events with this shared vision and values: the Digital Media and Learning Conference, the Games+Learning+Society Conference, and Sandbox Summit.

The annual HASTAC conferences are hosted by affiliate organizations at locations around the globe. The conference usually attracts between 250-450 attendees from around the world. Attendees include professors, independent scholars, HASTAC Scholars, graduate and undergraduate students, and professionals dedicated to using the open web to change the way we teach and learn.
The ELI Annual Meeting is a teaching and learning event featuring in-depth seminars, top-notch presenters, and various engaging session formats that support learning, networking and leadership. This event that explores solutions to our learning community’s key issues, engages innovative technology and service providers, and unites expertise across our institutions.
The Digital Media and Learning Conference is an annual event supported by the MacArthur Foundation and organized by the Digital Media and Learning Research Hub located at the UC Humanities Research Institute, University of California, Irvine. The conference is meant to be an inclusive, international and annual gathering of scholars and practitioners in the field, focused on fostering interdisciplinary and participatory dialog and linking theory, empirical study, policy, and practice.
